Imer Patt was born and lives in San Narciso Village, Corozal District. He is a graduate of Escuela Secundaria Tecnica Mexico High School. He then moved on to attend the Corozal Junior College and obtained an Associate’s Degree in Arts and Science with concentration in Biology and Chemistry.
Imer did two years at Escuela Latino Americana de Medicina Cuba as a medical student. Imer is a Certified Community Health Worker (CHW)
under the Health Education and Community Participation Bureau (HECOPAB) under the Ministry of Health and Wellness and works in his community, San Narciso; where he conducts community outreach and sensitization and offer health packages such as blood pressure, glucose and pregnancy tests since 2016.
Imer is a member of the National AIDS Commission (NAC) Country Coordinating Mechanism, representing Persons Living with HIV, and a Technical Advisor for the la RED Centro Americana de Personas con VIH (REDCA+).
Imer also volunteers for the Belize Red Cross and Corozal’s
Diabetic Association.
